‎"The Canoe King of Ely" is an official selection of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Ely, MN on July 22, 2010. Come for the film festival, stay for the Blueberry Arts Festival starting the next day.

Aleshia Mueller won an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The grant is to produce “Living With the Land,” a five-part documentary series profiling the lives of five people who are living with the land in various ways in Minnesota. March 2010.

Aleshia Mueller was elected as the 2010-2011 President of the non-profit organization, Minnesota Women in Film and Television (MN WIFT). February 2010.

The Canoe King of Ely and Lady of the Woods are both part of the official selection of the 2009 Big Water Film Festival.

Oberlin-Inanda: The Life and Times of John L. Dube (2005, 54 minutes) will screen at the Oak Street Cinema on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 p.m., followed by a Q&A session with director Chérif Keïta and editor Aleshia Mueller. Free and open to the public.
